Dear Universal School Families,
Assalamu Aleikum,
I hope this letter reaches you and your families in the best of health and Iman. I would like to inform you that the School Board has appointed Mrs. Barbara Hamoud as the Acting Principal of Universal School during my maternity leave starting January 28th until March 12th , 2010.
Mrs. Hamoud joined the Universal faculty in January of 1992 after graduating from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with a Bachelors Degree in elementary education. She has taught Kindergarten, 1st , 3rd and 5th grade, and she is currently the School's Academic and Curriculum Administrator.
We are confident of the selection and firmly place our trust in Mrs. Hamoud's ability to effectively run the school during my absence with the help and support of all Universal School parents and staff.
